成釉 Compound glaze

成釉又名混合矿石粉，是覆盖在陶瓷制品表面的无色或有色的玻璃质薄层，是用矿物原料（长石、石英、滑石、高岭土等）和原料按一定比例配合（部分原料可先制成熔块）经过研磨制成釉浆，施于坯体表面，经一定温度煅烧而成。能增加制品的机械强度、热稳定性和电介强度，还有美化器物、便于拭洗、不被尘土侵蚀等特点。

Glaze, also known as mixed ore powder, is a colorless or colored glassy thin layer covered on the surface of ceramic products. It is made of mineral raw materials (feldspar, quartz, talc, kaolin, etc.) and raw materials in a certain proportion (some raw materials can be made into frit first) after grinding into glaze slurry, applied to the surface of the billet body, and calcined at a certain temperature. It can increase the mechanical strength, thermal stability and dielectric strength of the products, and beautify the utensils, easy to wipe, not be eroded by dust and so on.
